St Helens Hospital has won the best hospital grounds award in the Royal Horticultural Society, North West in Bloom competition organised by NewHosptital.
The hospital was awarded one of two gold awards and was the overall winner of the hospital category. The award demonstrates the consistently high standard achieved by the VINCI Facilities team on site.
Commenting on the award, Tony Raikes, Managing Director, VINCI Facilities said,
“This is a fantastic accolade for the team to receive. Given the quality of the competition across the whole of the North West it is particularly pleasing for our team to be recognised for their hard work.”
Sue Brandreth from NewHospitals also commented,
“This recognises the hard work of all the VINCI Facilities team and I must say that all the flowers and plants at the hospital are beautiful and the grounds are always lovely and tidy.”
VINCI Facilities will continue to liaise closely with St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust to ensure that their delivery remains at a high standard.
