VINCI Facilities has been awarded a three year contract to provide integrated facilities management services to Dwr Cymru Welsh Water the sixth largest water company in England and Wales. The contract, valued at approximately £1m per annum includes an option to extend for a further four years.
Under the agreement, VINCI Facilities will provide all hard and soft services to over 1700 employees occupying 14 operational buildings across a number of regions including Cardiff, Camarthen, Flintshire, Pontypridd, Swansea and Mid Glamorgan. In addition, VINCI Facilities will be responsible for managing and maintaining the longevity of the buildings assets through the provision of a bespoke CAFM system, and 24/7 multi lingual help desk.
VINCI Facilities was selected on the basis that they provided the best combination of value for money and quality of service bringing commercial control and management expertise to the facilities operations.
Serving over 3 million customers, Welsh Water is responsible for providing a continuous, high quality supply of drinking water and for taking away, treating and properly disposing of wastewater that is produced ensuring high standards for its customers at all times.
