VINCI Construction UK Sponsor ‘It’s Liverpool – The Business Conference’ to tackle the difficult question of how we can support an enterprise culture

VINCI Construction UK was recently the main sponsor of ‘It’s Liverpool – The Business Conference’. The one-day event was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Liverpool on 13th November and was organised by Downtown In Business and Liverpool Vision.

The event delved into the varying opinions of private sector businesses and industry specialists to answer the question of how support can be created for an enterprise culture in these challenging economic times.

Colin Rankin, Business Development Director from VINCI Construction UK, presented to the conference about the local property market. He gave insight into the projects VINCI Construction UK currently have underway in the North West and highlighted how they will boost the economy. Colin also addressed the positive socio-economic impact of VINCI Construction UK’s local projects and suggested what the government can do to support the construction industry.

Other guest speakers included Rachel Reeves, MP for Leeds West, Sir Howard Bernstein, Chief Executive, Manchester City Council, Joe Anderson, Leader of the Liverpool City Council, business leaders, entrepreneurs and editors.
