VINCI Facilities has been providing facilities management services to The Royal Parks since 2007. The contract covers the management and maintenance of 15 miles of river, 500 buildings, fountains and statues within eight parks, including Regent’s Park and Hyde Park.
In January , The Queen Elizabeth Gate in Hyde Park, which was designed by the world famous metal work artist Giuseppe Lund, was damaged as a result of a road traffic accident. VINCI Facilities removed the patented stainless steel gate and was on hand to support the artist while the repair works were carried out. The gate was reinstated on Friday 19 February 2010 with HRH Prince Michael of Kent in attendance.
