John Jones Excavation Awarded £16 Million Earthworks Contract

John Jones Excavation, part of VINCI Construction UK Limited, has been awarded a £16 million contract by Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering Limited who is working on behalf of the Highways Agency.

The ECI contract has been awarded after a lengthy period of close collaborative working between the parties and comprises earthworks and culvert works as part of the construction of the new 13km dual carriageway from junction 13 of the M1 to Bedford.

The 98 week contract is due for completion in December 2010.
